We've been hunting for the right quail producer for a long time as our Wolfe Ranch supply ran out. We finally found a great producer!
ABOUT THE FARM
A second-generation, family-owned South Carolina farm — founded 1974. Started as a backyard hobby raising heritage Pharaoh quail to train bird dogs. Today, restaurant clients include Thomas Keller, Wolfgang Puck, and Daniel Boulud.

No water. No synthetics. No premix. No fillers. Nothing else.
WHY IT'S BETTER
Most quail products use 5-week-old birds. We use mature laying hens:
Fully mineralized skeleton + medullary bone = more usable calcium
More dark meat → more taurine, iron, myoglobin
Higher trace minerals
Ca:P of 1.3:1 — ideal for adult maintenance
Lower fat, better fatty-acid profile than broilers
Whole dressed = full spectrum of secreting organs in one ingredient.
QUAIL vs. chicken: 4× vitamin C · 3× iron · vitamin A present · denser amino acids · healthier n-6:n-3. Quail eggs vs. chicken eggs: 2× iron, ~30% more B12, ~140% B1.

100% STATE INSPECTED INGREDIENTS: Whole dressed spent-layer quail (feet on, heads off, hearts/livers/kidneys/lungs inside) & quail eggs (raw, whole with shells). Nothing else is added (not even water). Medium grind for better nutrition.
FEEDING: Intended for supplemental or intermittent feeding. Serve raw. Feed 2% of your pet’s ideal body weight/day or amount required to maintain ideal body composition. Step 1: Grind exclusively. Step 2: Add in supplemental/seasonal foods. Step 3: Add flavors to min. four (4) different proteins.
HANDLING: KEEP FROZEN BEFORE USE. Do not microwave. Defrost at under 40 degrees; feed or refreeze within 2 days.
