About Root Down Farm:
Our mission is to humanely raise healthy animals while working within our ecosystem to responsibly steward the land, and respect the humans that make it all happen.
Our animals rotate pastures to improve soil and animal health, while producing incredible and honest meat. All animals are fed an organic, non-GMO grain and we would never even think of giving hormones to anyone.
Our pigs live outside, happily romping and rooting in the pastures.Diet
Our pigs eat grubs, grass and roots in the ground as well as organic vegetables and apples while supplemented with organic, non-GMO grain.
All of our pigs are contained by electric fence with solar chargers and mobile housing so that we can continuously move and rotate them around the pastures, improving their health and the health of the soil.
All sales are final.
