Mary’s Turkey is proud to be family owned and operated since 1954. Mary’s sons, David and Ben Pitman, are third-generation Pitman farmers who lead the company today. David and Ben have been taught by their father, Rick, who learned from his father, Don, about the importance of animal husbandry and our responsibility to ensure the welfare of animals.
Mary’s Turkeys are audited by several 3rd party certifying bodies, including Certified Humane and Global Animal Partnership. Be sure to check your Mary’s Turkey product packaging for specific certifications, such as Certified Organic, Non-GMO Project Verified or Halal.
Our poultry feed consists of 70% corn, 25% soybean meal, and 5% a blend of vitamins and minerals.
