Since this time, many of you have shared how it has become an incredible challenge to find a trusted veterinarian locally; one that can provide wise guidance when navigating through the many options available to us when our animals are facing health issues. This is especially true for those of us that consider health and healing through a homeopathic-minded paradigm or perspective. When we’re sick, we need medicine; there are many forms of medicine and modalities for treatment available.

Veterinary Examinations & Consultations:

When we’re sick, we need medicine. Medicine comes in many different forms — allopathic (surgery, drugs), chiropractic, herbs, Traditional Chinese Medicine (acupuncture, nutritional therapy, herbs) and homeopathy are some of the more popular options available to animal caregivers. Meeting with Dr. Fishelson can help you determine which modality of medicine may be most suitable for your animal.

Dr. Fishelson will spend up to 30-minutes with you and your animal, reviewing their history and current health status. During the appointment, she will answer questions you have about the many treatment options available to you, then provide recommendations and referrals to appropriate health care providers, as needed. Dr. Fishelson has a classical homeopathic veterinary practice, but realizes not all cases are a suitable match for homeopathic treatment. This appointment is not for homeopathic consultation, but it is your chance to get a qualified opinion on how to help your animal get well by whatever means and ask questions about homeopathy and homeopathic treatment.

If it is determined during this exam that homeopathy is a good fit for you and your pet, Dr. Fishelson will then schedule an appointment for homeopathic care with her in the future. Intake exams for her homeopathic practice cost $300; your $75 exam/consultation fee paid at SFRAW will be applied towards your homeopathic intake exam fee. Ongoing homeopathic care with Dr. Fishelson is primarily conducted via telephone follow-up appointments or house-calls. She will also be able to meet you for in-person exam visits at SFRAW in the future, if necessary.

Nutritional Consultations:

After your appointment with Dr Fishelson, you will be eligible to schedule private nutritional consultation with Kasie Maxwell (SFRAW’s Founder & expert in animal nutrition).

During this appointment, Kasie will review what you are currently feeding and then make nutritional recommendations or suggestions in consideration of their health concerns.

Add up to 20-minutes of nutritional consulting to your appointment for $35. Note: For legal reasons, your animal must be examined by Dr. Fishelson before your nutritional consultation with Kasie.
