Mary’s Chickens has joined the 5-Step Animal Welfare Rating Standards Program with Global Animal Partnership.  The 5-Step Animal Welfare Rating Program encourages better welfare practices and systems to benefit farmers, consumers, retailers, and the animals. As such, we will continue to offer only chicken that is certified and labeled by Global Animal Partnership (GAP), a program recognized by the ASPCA® Shop With Your Heart program, and we will continue to process all our chicken using a multistep controlled-atmosphere processing system.
