These beautiful little eggs make for a pretty presentation and really boost the visual appeal of any meal.

Quail eggs can be served & enjoyed either cooked just like any other eggs or enjoyed raw safely.

FIVE (5) quail eggs are the equivalent to 1 regular chicken egg.

Nutritionally, a serving of quail eggs has much more vitamin B2 and TWICE the amount of iron compared to chicken eggs. Quail egg calories and protein content are similar to those of chicken eggs per serving, making them a healthy food that you can integrate into your diet in many different ways.

Quail eggs are not only thought to be nutritionally valuable but beneficial to overall health. According to a 2013 study in the International Journal of Scientific and Research Publications, eating quail eggs supports healthy organ function throughout the body and may help prevent disease.

Their consumption is thought to be beneficial for cognition and the nervous, immune and digestive systems. They're also thought to help with the removal of toxins and various types of stones, like kidney, liver and gallbladder stones. Quail egg benefits include counteracting anemia as they can increase hemoglobin in the blood.

Cool fact: Quail eggs don't carry a salmonella risk at all. This is due to the fact that quail eggs have an increased amount of lysozyme - an antimicrobial enzyme - which kills harmful bacteria. Also, quails have a higher body temperature than chickens which appears to aid them in protective features from sickness.

Quail eggs have been traditionally used as a gastrointestinal remedy/digestive aid and they may be enjoyed eaten raw -- they are the perfect egg ingredient for any tartare dish that you may choose to serve/prepare. Enjoy!

Dogs and cats can eat eggs whole, shell and all! TIP: Eggshell membrane is a wonderful joint supportive food - which is a nice added benefit when eating the eggs whole with the shells. Eggshell membrane is used as a dietary supplement to promote joint comfort and flexibility. Eggshell membrane is composed of naturally occurring glycosaminoglycans including chondroitin and hyaluronic acid, collagen and other beneficial proteins. Pretty cool (this is for all eggshell membranes, not just quail eggs!)
