All the items are produced with fresh fruit, pressed by hand and contain no preservatives. They are excellent for retail or foodservice as a cheese accompaniment, dessert, ingredient or as is. Our Fig Cakes with Mixed Nuts are made with premium whole Pajarero figs, Marcona Almonds, Hazelnuts, and Walnuts. The figs are destemmed by hand. Today there are other companies importing fig cakes but they are a puree of stems, figs and other spices mashed into a bread. We are the only company with mixed nuts and they really add something special to the cake. Our producer alternates a layer of each nut with the figs to create a beautiful and delicious treat.
